Momma’s Blues Backfire Trousers, a repurposed pair of black corduroy flares, are emblazoned with turquoise leather flames. Upcycled in Paris using leather offcuts, these one-off trousers are as sustainable as they are stylish.
Parisian-based brand Momma’s Blues bring us their Backfire Trousers, a flaming pair of cords to be paired with the Flame Leather Jacket. Layers of leather in metallic hues of turquoise and lime have been exquisitely hand-cut and stitched, demonstrating the leather artistry and craftsmanship of the Momma’s Blue artisans.
Momma’s Blues have repurposed these classic black corduroy trousers, inserting black leather seams, a waist belt and the bold metallic flames. Repurposing what already exists is core to the Momma’s Blues ethos, supporting a sustainable circular economy by utilising fabric offcuts and upcycling existing garments. Each garment created by Momma’s Blues is a totally unique one-off. This repurposed pair of trousers has led a previous life, so there may be signs of its precious narrative in the form of slight wear.
